Get it right with BLONDES and you will forget the rest. BlONDES do all the business on their own.:
- In excess of 98% of pure Blondes calve naturally.
- the 1999 INRA (france), compared blonde steers with those of another very popular French breed, under very controlled conditions(valid comparisons) Blondes killed the same carcass weight at younger age, produced 9% more meat, and 4% less collagen (connective tissue). On a 400 kg carcass, 9% extra meat = 36 kg at approximately €12 p/kg across the counter = €432 per head (average figure). In addition, in their first winter, the blondes consumed 2.5 kg dry matter per head, less than their competitors. Cutting edge Irish farmers have proved this for themselves.
- 14 month blonde bull by PTA, killed in may 07, hung 440 kg, and produced 335 kg of meat.
- In March 2006, a PTA bull of 15 months, killed 454 kgs.
- Blonde beef is a special type of meat: lean tender and easily cooked: cook it quickly at a high temperature.
- There is a huge range of type within the Blonde breed, early developers,(NICODEME) ::::late developers, (LHI)::::::strong proven maternal bloodlines,(NIELSEN,FALLOU, CRACK, USTIN, LEO,IMPAIR) beef sires,(NICODEME, ONYX,PTA) sires for heifers(LSX,Hiver).Study the breed : Get it right and you won’t look back. Parati is a bull for cows. NICODEME , and ONYX are each very easy calving bulls and proven for same. Thousands of NICODEME have been used on the continent on Holstein cows for veal production.Ifyou want only beef, you can not bypass Nicodeme,(120) or ONYX(115).All frencf sires are PROVEN: no need to reinvent the wheel.
